Garlic Lime Chicken

  • 12 bone-in chicken thighs, skins removed
  • 1/4 cup of lime juice
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. of dried thyme
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsps. of butter
  • 1 cup of long-grain white rice


Step 1

Put the chicken in the slow cooker and top with the lime juice, chicken broth, garlic, thyme, pepper and butter.

Step 2

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Add the rice to the slow cooker during the last 15 minutes of cooking and cook until tender.
