Family Favorite No-Bake Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 a cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 a cup of milk
  • 1/2 a cup of butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 a cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups of rolled oat

Method

Step 1

Combine sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter in a large saucepan.

Step 2

Cook over high heat stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil.

Step 3

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla, salt, peanut butter, and oats.

Step 4

Spoon onto parchment lined cookie sheets by rounded teaspoon and refrigerate until firm.
