Scallop and Shrimp Kabobs2014-04-11

- 12 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 16 sea scallops, about 2 pounds
- 3/4 cup of butter
- 3 tsps. of cajun seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsps. of hot pepper sauce
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp. of onion powder
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add the cajun, hot pepper sauce, garlic and onion powder to the butter.
Alternately thread the scallops and shrimp onto for metal skewers or soaked wooden skewers.
Lightly coat the grill rack with cooking oil and heat the grill to medium. Bast the kabobs with the butter mixture and cook covered for 3-5 minutes per side or until the shrimp and scallops are cooked. Bast occasionally throughout cooking and serve the kabobs with the unused butter sauce for dipping.
