- Peas, carrots, green beans, spinach or kale
Cut vegetables into small pieces and steam them in a vegetable steamer over 1 or 2 inches of water in a covered pot. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Puree vegetables in a food processor or blender, adding reserved cooking liquid to thin puree to the desired consistency.
Freeze or refrigerate unused portions immediately.
